<p>Union Home Minister P Chidambaram said he visited the sports venues three times and wished organisers would have done certain things in time which they did not do. <br /><br />Asked about threats of hijacking, Chidambaram said: “We don’t think any hijacking attempt would take place.” The minister, however, said all reports are being taken seriously. <br /><br />On the confusion relating to the use of games lane, he said: “Any one with T-1 card can use CWG lane.” <br /><br />Games lanes are strictly a big “no-no” for common vehicular traffic or pedestrians who would be fined Rs 2000, their vehicles impounded or sent to jail straightaway. <br />On the use of Air force, the minister said they have their own ways of doing things and the query should be put to them.</p>
