Governor, CM appeal for peace

“Karnataka is the peace loving State with exemplary harmony among different communities.

The State is on a high growth trajectory. Everyone should do their utmost to ensure peace which is a pre-requisite for development and prosperity,” he stated in a release.

Irrespective of the outcome of this judicial process, it is necessary for all citizens to respect the judgment. There should not be any provocation from any side to hurt the feelings of others, he said.

Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has also appealed to the people of the State to co-operate in ensuring peace and harmony in the State. Those who feel aggrieved have an option to approach the higher court if they desire, he added.
