CM opens guest house at AIISH

He was speaking at the inauguration of ‘Ashoka’ International Guest House at AIISH Panchavati Campus.

Desiraju said in Primary Health Centers (PHC) and Community Health Centers (CHC), qualified people are not available for related diagnosis. It is required to carry out the good work undertaken by the institute by providing the qualified people in PHC and CHC by expanding and establishing its branches in other parts of India also.

He said AIISH is presently confined to Mysore, but it has to be linked with other institutes especially in the north to render its services.

Earlier, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa inaugurated the ‘Ashoka’ - International Guest House at AIISH Panchavati Campus. The guest house has 15 VIP family suites and is built on a total area of 1,233 sq mts.

The building has been constructed at a cost of Rs 158 lakh. Medical Education and District In-Charge Minister S A Ramdas, Forest Minister, C H Vijayashankar, AIISH director Dr Vijayalakshmi Basavaraj were present.
