From corporate conferences, carnivals to cultural performances and even a DJ bash, Chrizellenz, a national level management fest, held at Christ University Institute of Management, made sure that there was something for everyone who took part in it.

The two-day extravaganza saw a participation of almost 2400 people, including 39 MBA colleges, eight engineering colleges, 370 management fest participants, 100 cultural fest participants and 120 people for the corporate show.

The fest was inaugurated by N S Ramaswamy, the founder of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. This was followed by a series of talks as part of the corporate conference. “They provided a good insight into the management world which is helpful for budding managers like us,” said one of the students.

As promised, the fest kicked off with innovative, educative and definitely healthy competitions with management games from all the four verticals — finance, marketing, human resources and operations. “The participation was simply brilliant and there was no limit to the enthusiasm witnessed during the events,” said Rahul, one of the co-ordinators.

Being a management fest, the University also provided a platform to arts students to showcase their talent in the cultural section. The highlight of the fest was the carnival. It was spread across to depict and symbolise the seven continents of the world which were aptly denoted in significant stalls.

Dance competitions were also a stress buster, the corporates enjoyed all of that and it gave a perfect kickstart to the weekend.

While day one saw a huge amount of participation, day two brought out the finalists from each of the events. Celebrations were taken to a whole new level after the valedictory function, as the most awaited event – the grand DJ bash – got everyone on their feet.

“All in all, these two days revived and reignited us mentally and physically,” said Richard, one of the students.
