IAF says not inking pacts with the US will make no difference

Addressing a ceremony to release the brochure of the 5th International Conference on Energising Indian Aerospace: Achievements and Future Strategies organised by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) here, Naik said: “The government had asked us about our opinion on these agreements and we told them that this will not make any substantial difference to our operational capabilities.”

The US has been asking India to sign the Communication Interoperability and Security Memorandum of Agreement (CISMOA) and the Logistics Support Agreement (LSA) to foster closer defence ties.
