Mimo, also a good dancer, was launched by Mithun in his debut movie 'Jimmy' which did not do well at the box-office.
Mithun's dancing steps were also compared to that of Jackson, on which he said "it is a compliment, but I am not a patch of Jackson," he said.
"I never happened to meet him or got an opportunity to speak to him (Jackson), but I love and respect him a lot," the 'Disco Dancer' star said.
