When chef Akshay received Rs.29 as tip

The actor made the revelation while shooting for Star Plus' cooking reality show Amul MasterChef India and said this was the highest tip he ever received during his stint as a chef.

Akshay has been carrying the note for over 25 years now and considers it to be his lucky charm.

Choreographers are losing their identity: Saroj Khan

Ace choreographer Saroj Khan says she feels that today's choreographers were losing their identity.

"Earlier, choreographers used to have an identity of their own. You could easily distinguish that this dance was choreographed by Sohanlal or this has been choreographerd by Hiralal. But today it is hard to distinguish," said Saroj.

"Everything looks the same because nobody is trying to be creative or use their minds," she said.

Meanwhile, Saroj is set to return to the small screen with her dance show "Nachle Ve" on Imagine TV and this time choreographer Terence Lewis will be joining her. The show goes on air Oct 25.

Film industry has lost its soul: Supriya Pathak Kapoor

Actress Supriya Pathak Kapoor, who has done considerable amount of work on big as well as small screen, feels that the film industry has lost its passion and soul.

"The industry has become more professional and corporate kinds. I feel it has lost its passion and soul. I won't say we have lost it entirely but it is being moulded in a different way," Supriya told IANS.

"For someone who has been working in the industry for so long, it feels like where has the warmth gone," she added.

Supriya started her career with Kalyug in 1981 and was later seen in films like "Bazaar", "Masoom", "Mirch Masala", "Sarkar", "Delhi 6", "Wake Up Sid" and most recently "Khichdi-The Movie".

She is popularly known as Hansa of hit TV sitcom "Khichdi" and has also acted in another show called "Idhar Udhar".
