JOIN USHearing a petition by Lake View Tourism Corporation (LVTC), Justice Ram Mohan Reddy quashed the notification dated February 23, 2004 to acquire some of the land overlapping KIADB acquisition at Hebbal in Amanikere village in Bangalore North taluk.
The BDA, according to the petitioner, had acquired the land which was meant for the tourism project of the petitioners, which was an outcome of Global Investors Meet in the year 2000. Accordingly, their Rs 250 crore project was approved by the State Government and 75 acres of land were allocated for the project.
The petitioners said that the BDA had notified the land acquisition by disregarding the acquisition. Justice Ram Mohan Reddy, on hearing the matter, quashed the acquisition overlapping KIADB acquisition.
