Rumours rife on Sampangi's return to BJP

According to party sources an ‘influential minister’ has swung into action to bring Sampangi back into the BJP fold. The workers who ransacked the party office soon after Sampangi shifted his loyalty are in a quandary in view of the rumours. Majority of the Gram Panchayat members too had voiced their protest against the legislator.

District in-charge minister A Narayanaswamy told Deccan Herald ruled out any such possibility. He said it was a closed chapter and there was no question of re-induction.
On the contrary, a partyman holding brief for Sampangi said recent developments have established that anything could be possible in politics and re-induction was also a part of such possibilities.
