Sensing a new problem, BJP National President Nitin Gadkari has invited the state leaders for talks to resolve the issue.

A team of BJP leaders including Chief Minister Yeddyurappa, State unit President Eshwarappa, RSS functionaries among others will fly in a charter flight to Nagpur on Friday to meet Gadkari.

Sources in the party said while there no resistance to induct Reddys’ men - Varthur Prakash and Raju Gowda into the Cabinet, their ‘desire’ to accommodate two more of their associates is not acceptable to Eshwarappa, it is said.  According to sources, Varthur, Raju Gowda, Sogadu Shivanna and C T Ravi will find place in the Cabinet during the expansion following green signal from the top leadership. In the next reshuffle, Appachu Ranjan, Basavaraj Patil Attur and two MLAs from North Karantaka may get ministerial berths provided the chief minister drops two senior ministers from the Cabinet.

It is said that Eshwarappa on Wednesday spoke to those MLAs including Krishnaiah Setty who expressed their resentment for not being considered for the post of ministers, and warned them not to create problems for the party.
