The culprit called both the BIA police station and the BIAL on November 8 and told them that a bomb has been planted at the airport. Following the call, a bomb disposal squad conducted a thorough search.
On arresting Raju Gowda, the police found that he was out on bail recently, after he was arrested for making a hoax call last year.
