<p>The demonstration was staged following the name of Indresh Kumar, a senior RSS leader figuring in the Ajmer blast case. Leading the protest, an RSS functionary Bhagaiah alleged that the Union government has been framing the RSS leaders.<br /><br />“In the eyes of the secular government at the Centre, now Hindu sadhus and sants are terrorists. This is a part of the appeasement policy adopted by the Union government in order to keep its minority vote bank intact, ahead of the Bihar polls,” said Bhagaiah.<br /><br />He flayed the government for conspiring against Hindu seers such as Kanchi Shankaracharya, Baba Ramdev and Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur instead of acting against terrorists like Ajmal Kasab and Afzal Guru. <br /><br />Due to the protest the traffic was hit for nearly three hours near Town Hall, Majestic, Anand Rao Circle and other major roads in the City.<br /></p>
