JOIN USThe demonstration was staged following the name of Indresh Kumar, a senior RSS leader figuring in the Ajmer blast case. Leading the protest, an RSS functionary Bhagaiah alleged that the Union government has been framing the RSS leaders.
“In the eyes of the secular government at the Centre, now Hindu sadhus and sants are terrorists. This is a part of the appeasement policy adopted by the Union government in order to keep its minority vote bank intact, ahead of the Bihar polls,” said Bhagaiah.
He flayed the government for conspiring against Hindu seers such as Kanchi Shankaracharya, Baba Ramdev and Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur instead of acting against terrorists like Ajmal Kasab and Afzal Guru.
Due to the protest the traffic was hit for nearly three hours near Town Hall, Majestic, Anand Rao Circle and other major roads in the City.
