Dues bring contractors to streets

So much so, the contractors on Thursday took to the streets to draw the attention from the civic agencies and the State Government.

Tired of waiting for payments for works undertaken, the contractors protested at the Mahatma Gandhi statue on MG Road.The contractors claimed that they had completed projects worth Rs 7,500 crore across all civic agencies only to be turned down when they demanded their dues.
