'Kalapratibhotsava' awards announced

Narayana K Desai of Kautilya Vidyalaya and Prajwala P of Rotary West School won the second and third prizes.

In the Carnatic Classical Music section, Ganashri Guru Prasad bagged the first prize in the Balapratibhe category, while Krishna N of Niveditha Nagar and Nityashri R of CFTRI School won the the second and third prizes respectively. Varuni P Rao of Maharshi College, Medha M of Rotary West School and Anagha K S of Sadvidya High School won the first three prizes in the Kishorapratibhe category.

Among the Classical Dance section, Moulya Venkatesh of Chinmayi Vidyalaya, Prateeksha G Hegde of Sarada Vilas Higher Primary School and Bhoomika V Hegde of Gynanaganga Vidyapeetha won the first three prizes in the Balapratibhe category.

Sharika K of J P Nagar, Meghna L N Raju of JSS Public School and M Mythrirao of Kuvempunagar bagged the three prizes in the Kishorapratibhe category.

In the Yuvapratibhe category, Padmashri of M G Koppal, Madhura Dewanamala of T K Layout and Apoorva K of Saraswathipuram won the first three places respectively.

Bharathi H C of Mahajana Public School, Rakshitha S of Rotary West School and Amulya M of Christ the King Convent won the first three places in the Baalapratibhe category of the Light Music section.

Shreya K of K R Mohalla, Ashwini T N of Kuvempunagar, Ashwini M Prabhu of Sadvidya School won the prizes in the Kishorapratibhe category. Mahesh R of Srirampura, Anjali V Bhat of AIISH and Anupama Hegde won the yuvapratibhe awards.

In the fine arts section, Sahana M of Savithri Convent, Lakshadeep G Sharma of Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Sanjaya S Shastry won the Baalapratibhe awards, while Sharath B Rajan of St Mathaias High School , Adarsh S of Rotary West High School and Sriparna of Sadvidya High School won the Kishorapratibhe awards. Somanna K K Swagath of Sri Kalanikethan School of Arts, Apoorva R Shekar of Teresian College, and Nagaraju M of Hebbal won the Yuvapratibhe awards.

The folk songs section, witnessed Srujana G Prasad of Avila Convent, Nisarga K K of K P Convent and Mahalakshmi M of Government Higher Primary School won the Baalapratibhe awards. M S Kaustubha of Vidyavardhaka Pandit Nehru High School, Vidyabhanu of Atomic Research Centre, K M Meghana of Chinmaya Vidyalaya won the Kishorapratibhe awards.

Mono-acting Baalapratibhe awards were bagged by Sathyanarayana S K of JSS High School, Chaithanya M Hegd of Bogadi and G R Vidyaradhya of K R Mohalla. Shravan K N of Sadvidya High School, Nagamallikarjuna of JSS High School and Nisarga of Hari Vidyalaya won the Kishorapratibhe awards. Maharaja College lads Murali M V, Kumara B and Channegowda B N sweeped the Yuvapratibhe awards.

Nanjundasharma N V, Praveen B M and Radhika R won three prizes in the Yuvapratibhe category of ‘My favourite writer’.

Yohan Paul won the Hindustani Classical recital competition. R Eshwari, Varun and Anush won the carnatic instrumental music category. Arun Kumar, Leelavathi Indresh and Janakamma won the prizes for the rangoli competitions.

Mahadevswamy and team won the first prize in the folk dance competitions, while Maharaja College students and Narasimhanayaka Kolata troupe won the third prize.
