Lady Gaga asks ex-flames to stop publicising old photos

The 'Alejandro' hitmaker has been embarrassed time and again by photos of her younger days which have appeared in the media since her rise to fame, and feels they would threaten her eccentric public identity, reported Contactmusic.

"She hates things from her past being made public. She's contacted exes, childhood friends and workmates to buy the copyright to any old pictures and footage to make sure that nothing else surfaces," a source said.

The 24-year-old singer, who is currently dating Luc Car, was, however, thrilled to discover she is going to be immortalised in wax at several Madame Tussauds museums.

Eight statues of Gaga will be unveiled in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Shanghai and Hong Kong on December 9.
