The German-based company Femer/MTE, which gave a presentation on multi-stage thermo-chemical energy conservation system, on Thursday, to Mayor and Deputy Mayor Dayanand, Commissioner Siddaiah, chairpersons of standing committees, corporators and other officers, will be bearing the team’s travel cost.
The executives of the firm highlighted the latest technology they have devised for solid waste management, which would enable them to generate and sell electricity, as well. The implementation of the technology would cost Rs 350 crore. But it can dispose of 5,000 tonnes of garbage every day.
