<p>Barring a few officers, majority of the officers faced the wrath of Justice N K Patil and Yellappa Reddy who had to remind them to file affidavits first, besides verifying whether competent authorities have put their signatures. <br /><br />Peeved about the ‘casual’ appearance of Chief Conservator of Forests Ajai Misra and B J Hosmath and Conservator of Forest Ravi, Justice Patil gave them a class on ‘dress code’ re-iterating that they are appearing before the Court which was called the ‘Lok Adalat’.<br /><br /> “Your attitude needs a makeover and, you need to understand what terms can be used in the court”, Justice Patil told Misra. <br /><br />Continuing, he charged the officer saying ‘there seems to be no code of conduct in the department and that makes us wonder what kind of an officer you are!’</p>
