BSY sympathisers attempt self-immolation

Jitendra and two others doused themselves with  kerosene and threatened immolation during a demonstration by BJP workers protesting against former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy’s ‘attempt’ to oust Yeddyurappa. However, the police who were present at the spot, took them into custody.

Chennabasavanna, DySP said notices were served on them for threatening to commit suicide in public. “At present, we don't have details of them. We will collect details and register a case against them for attempting to commit suicide.”
