Yuki defeated a stubborn Vishnu 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (7-4) to set up the summit clash against sixth seed Rohan Gajjar, who easily trounced unseeded Ashutosh Singh 6-3, 7-5 in the other last-four encounter.

Yuki meant business from the word go and broke Vishnu’s serve in the second game to run away with the opening set 6-3.

Vishnu drew level at a set apiece, breaking Yuki in the tenth game of the second set.

There was little to separate the two players in the decider, but in the end Yuki came out victorious, courtesy a number of unforced errors from his opponent.

In the other semifinal, Gajjareasily pocketed the opening set, breaking Ashutosh in the fourth game. Down by a set, Ashutosh raced to a 2-0 lead in the next, breaking Gajjar in the second game. But Gajjar came back strongly and broke back immediately to make it 2-2.

From there on, Gajjar held his serve and broke Ashutosh in the eleventh game before closing the set and the match on his own serve.
