CM issues gag order to MLAs

The Lokayukta is a respected institution and nobody should do or say anything that shows disrespect to it. I urge BJP MLAs not to make any comments against the Lokayukta,” he stated in a press release.

A group of ruling party MLAs, including Vishwanath and Suresh Gowda, had demanded that Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde tender an apology to Yeddyurappa for allegedly defaming him. They had also threatened to stage a protest in front of the Lokayukta office.
