<p>Mani, a resident of Bamboo Bazaar working as a loader at the godown belonging to J K Tyres in Belavatha is the accused. He had allegedly stolen two brand new tyres worth about Rs 40,000 on Tuesday. He had hidden the same at his house. <br /><br />Following day he was looking for a gullible customer near Medar Block when he was arrested by the cops led by Inspector C Kiran Kumar. He was produced before a court and has been remanded in judicial custody. <br /><br />Dies of burns<br /><br />A woman admitted at K R Hospital for burns succumbed on Wednesday. Salma of Udayagiri is that woman. She was married for four years. <br /><br />Salma had sustained severe burns when stove exploded into flames at her place. <br />Udayagiri police have registered a case.</p>
