<p>Excise Minister M P Renukacharya told reporters in Bangalore that a majority of these include small units brewing two to three litres of illicit liquors in sheds. <br /><br />He said department officials had conducted 39,359 raids and registered 6,016 cases, arrested 2,672 people and seized 490 vehicles involved in transportation of liquor illegally till October 2010. <br /><br />He said a meeting will be scheduled next week to chalk out an action plan to curb manufacture and sale of illicit liquor.</p>
