Facebook founder denies starting it 'to get girls'

The 26-year-old world's youngest billionaire's denial came in the wake of a Hollywood movie -- 'The Social Network', which has portrayed him in an unflattering light and suggested he was motivated by having been dumped by a girlfriend.

"It's pretty interesting to see what parts they got right and what parts they got wrong. I think that they got every single T-shirt that they had Mark Zuckerberg character wearing right. I think I actually own those T-shirts.

"And they got the sandals right. But I mean, there are hugely basic things that they got wrong, too. They made it seem like my whole motivation for building Facebook was so I could get girls, right?

"And they completely left out the fact that my girlfriend, I've been dating since before I started Facebook," 'The Daily Telegraph' online quoted Zuckerberg as telling the CBS show '60 Minutes' in the US.

The film has also focused heavily on a dispute between Zuckerberg and twin brothers Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss over the genesis of Facebook.

The twins, who attended Harvard with Zuckerberg, reportedly received a US dollars 65 million settlement after claiming he used their idea for a social networking website.
However, Zuckerberg said the movie made it seem like the lawsuit had been "such a huge part of Facebook's history", but he really spent "less than two weeks of my time worried about this."

Zuckerberg said: "That they would be upset about this all these years later is kind of mind-boggling to me. I mean, after all this time, I feel bad that they still feel bad about it."
