"We will sail along with the Government," DMK Parliamentary Party leader T R Baalu told reporters when asked whether the party would accept a JPC probe if the Government decided so.

However, the former Union Minister refused to elaborate. His comments come in the wake of reports that there are differences among the UPA partners on constitution of a JPC to probe the 2G spectrum allocation.

DMK MP A Raja had resigned as Telecom Minister on November 14 after the CAG report 'indicted' him for causing a loss of Rs 1.76 lakh crore to the exchequer.

Sources in the DMK said there were no differences among the allies over the JPC issue.
"We are part of the Government. We will go by whatever the government decides," a senior party leader said.

Asked whether the DMK would accept the demand for a JPC probe, he said, "Whatever it is, we will abide by the Government's decision. We are with them.
