Today more and more companies ask the candidates to submit their handwritten CV’s probably to analyse the candidate through his/her hand writing. This process is flawed as anyone submitting the handwritten CV would tend to be more cautious and maintain some amount of neatness.

What if an old tool was made available to the Human Resource community in a new package? In recent times an article had appeared in the press stating that the Pakistan delegation which was in negotiation with the Indian delegation had a new secret weapon. The article went on to explain that Pakistan was using the services of a Face Reader who was a part of the delegation and whose role was to read the faces of the Indian delegation and profile the delegates in such a way to enable Pakistan to have an upper hand in the negotiations.

Face Reading as Recruitment Tool has been documented to have been used by the Greeks since the time of Aristotle. Aristotle was designated the role of employing people for Alexander the Great. A human being can’t change the shape, texture, lines, scars and moles of his/her face, as and when they want to. Face Reading is profiling a person based on shape, texture, lines, scars and moles. It is very accurate analysis of an individual’s personality, drives, motivators etc. An experienced face reader can predict a person’s present, past and future with an amazing accuracy just by looking at a person for few minutes. You could predict things such as leadership abilities, attention to detail, quality consciousness or whether the person is good for administration or business development and many more things by just reading the human face. More and more establishments in business, security agencies etc are currently training their staff and rediscovering the strong potential of analysing their employees or future employees by way of spending a few minutes by reading their faces.

Other trades which can be observed through face reading are:

1. The emotional state and control of an individual
2.Stability and growth in careers
3. Relationship with co-workers
4.Relationship with spouse/family members
5. Whether a person would settle abroad, health predictions, higher education, ability to grasp things fast, creativity, adaptability and flexibility.

For example  the possessor of a  wood face would possess the following qualities.

1. The wood type face is rectangular in appearance
2. It has uniformity of width and is far longer than it is wide
3. The forehead of this type of face is likewise high and usually possesses well-defined creases
4. In men there is often receding hairline.
5. This face type is associated with warmth and optimism
6. The possessor of the wood face is energetic, with leadership potential, strong ideals and determination
7. He is popular, wins friends easily and is charitable
8. He can demand that things must be done in his way and may express him in arrogant manner
9. The wood face is also associated with strong religious or philosophical convictions

Just as we have profiled the wood face you can classify and profile other people who happen to fall into other categories such as the Earth Face, Water Face, Metal Face, Fire Face, Volcano Face and Bucket Face. Similarly every crease and line on the forehead would predict a certain personality in the possessor. For example the possessor of a single vertical line running from the base of the nose upwards would possess the following qualities. This solitary line rising from the top of the nose signifies great powers of concentration. This is a person who will rise to a position of prominence through his own diligence and vision. However, there is also a warning given when this feature is present - the line may also indicate selfishness, anxiety and a tendency to make enemies who will engineer financial troubles.

The eyes and eyebrows are classified into more than 22 types even the shape of the nose, mouth, the lips and ears has volumes to say about a person.

Unfortunately the HR community is yet to discover and utilise this powerful yet economical tool which is available to them. However, the HR community tends to rely on methods such as handwriting analysis, psychometric tests etc which can be manupilated greatly to the benefit of the employees. No wonder, the HR community is prone to making blunders in their recruitment.

The world over you will notice only a handful of genuine people offer trainings on face reading. Though many of the so called religious and spiritual leaders have acquired the ability to read faces from their mentorsthey do not disclose that it is scientific but instead proclaim that this is a spiritual gift given to them.
