Tibetans take out protest rally against Chinese atrocities

The protesters condemned the gross violation of human rights, freedom of religion, freedom of expression, freedom of education and cultural genocide practiced by Chinese Government in Tibet since 1959.

The protesters also criticised the Chinese authorities for destroying the Tibetan environment by taking up extensive mining, deforestation and construction of railway lines and military and nuclear facilities in Tibet.

The tibetans demanded that the Chinese Government release all political prisoners including Panchen Lama, Tulku Tenzin Delek. Furthermore, they also wanted the Chinese Government to stop arresting Tibetan intellectuals. China should stop destruction of Tibetan environment and stop extracting resources in Tibet, they demanded.

The Tibetan protesters also asked the Chinese Government to release Nobel peace Prize awardee Liu Xiaobo.
