JOIN USThe Ramamurthy Nagar police have arrested four men in connection with a recent murder case.
A group of six men, who had gone to M R Petrol Bunk in Kalkere on Sunday night, had a tiff with petrol bunk attendants over a trivial issue.
One of them stabbed a truck driver Raju alias Basavaraju, 35, who was in the bunk, and fled the scene. Though Raju was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital, he succumbed to injuries on Monday.
Ramamurthy Nagar Police registered a murder case and started the investigation. On Tuesday, Yuvaraj alias Kariya, 20, Mathew alias Appu, 21, Teju Thomas alias Tijo, 20, and Naveen alias Harsha, 19, were arrested.
The police have also recovered the knife used to stab Raju, a bike and two mobile phones from them. Police are on the lookout for the other two suspects, Vinod and Mani.
