JOIN USSpeaking to media persons here on Thursday, Veena said that possibilities of joining hands with the secular parties to fight the election have been discussed in the party meeting earlier. The party leaders too have shown interest to form coalition with JD(S). The party High Command is expected to announce its decision in next two days, she said.
Meanwhile, she also informed that KPCC has appointed former minister Tanvir Sait and Vasanthi Shivanna as the in-charge of Kodagu district zilla and taluk panchayat elections.
Both the in-charge leaders will take part in the district Congress leaders meet which will be held on December 13. KPCC has provided application forms to distribute it to the candidates who wish to take part in the elections. The forms have been handed over to 5 Block Congress Presidents. The willing candidates must fill the forms and submit it at the earliest, she informed and added that the party is all set to face election.
