Speaking to media persons on the eve of the global launch of the portal, Founder and Chairman of BillMailID P C Hashir informed that using BillMailID, people can create, receive, send, manage, print, store, search and pay their bills from computers or mobile phones. Bill payment can be done through debit cards, credit cards, net banking, cash/cheque at bank counters, ATMs, Kiosks or from the neighbourhood franchise shops. Elucidating the format of creating BillMail account, Hashir informed that one can join BillMailID by self registering in its web portal or by sending a text through the mobile phone. The BillMailID of a person will be the reverse of users’ mobile phone number with area code enabling one to remember the ID without difficulty. Ones the person has registered the account, then he/she will get the benefit of paying from anywhere in the world using mobile phone or internet.

Briefing about the future plan of actions, Hashir said that the full-fledged version of BillMailID will be released within next three months and the talks are on for the tie up with one of the nationalised banks of India. “We intend to make the BillMailID uasge available for every Indian free of cost so as to bring a revolutionary change in the billing field. Once we reach the Indian customers, our next target is USA,” he said.
