Prathibha Karanji a grand success

Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer S T Anjan Kumar opined that ‘Pratibha Karanji’ programme is the right platform to bring out the hidden talents among the kids to the fore.

Speaking after inaugurating the district-level ‘Pratibha Karanji-2010’ programme, organised jointly by the Department of Public Instructions and the district administration at St Philomena’s Higher Primary School here on Monday, he said the children should give more importance to tradition and culture of the State while exhibiting their talents.

Stress buster

Of late, people were under a lot of stress due to various problems because of which they were prone to diseases like hypertension and insomnia.

 If they involve themselves in art, literature and music, they would be protecting the art, which indirectly prove to be stress busters and find life more interesting, he added.

Deputy Director, Department of Public Instructions A T Chamaraj presided.

District Coordinator K N Balram, District High School and Primary Teachers Association Presidents Hanumanthegowda and Shivegowda, Sr Jasmine of St Philomena’s School, Educational officer Latha and others participated.
