BillMailID launched in Mangalore

‘BillMailID’, the world’s bill manager, has been launched at the Hotel Gateway here on Monday. Yenepoya University Director (Administration) P C M Kunhi launched the bill manager portal globally by registering his name.

Speaking on the occasion, Founder and Chairman of BillMailID P C Hashir said that the BillMailID is an easy and powerful web application where people can create, receive, send, manage, print, store, search and pay their bills from computers or mobile phones.

Subscribers can link their bills to the payment options of their choice and then store the bills, payment mode and receipt in the BillMailID for future reference, he added.

Further, he explained that the initial three months will be the registration period where people can register their name either by browsing www.billmailid.com or by sending an sms - billmailid your name - to 56767776. Users can make payments using credit card, debit card, cheques or cash at the kiosks, portals, ATMs, bank counters or at the nearby BillMailID franchisee shops. Once an ID was created, one will have to inform their billing agencies and service providers to start sending bills to the BillMailID, he said adding that all banks will have tie-ups with the BillmailID.

A total of 25,000 people have already registered their names within two days. The registration will cross 10 lakh by February 28, he said adding that joining BillmailID is free and users need not pay service charge.
