Inspecting the area on Monday, he also ordered resortation of the lake’s fencing which had been removed.
The chief engineer of the zone should direct the contractors to fill up the potholes on Mysore Road in a scientific manner, he added.
Siddaiah said 64 parks in the area were developed and five had installed rainwater harvesting systems.
Notices to film producers
The Palike has issued notices to two film producers, T P Siddaraju and Prashanth Raj, for pasting movie posters in public places.
The posters of movies “Yaksha” and “Gaanabajana” were pasted on walls in Cottonpet Main Road and Leela Paradise Delux Lodge in violation of the Karnataka Open Place (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, 1981.
A case has been registered in the Cottonpet police station.
