Seminar on paediatric hearing today

The objective of the seminar is to update the knowledge of the audiologists on strategies that would ensure an accurate diagnosis of hearing loss, selection and verification of optimal hearing technology, and appropriate listening training techniques.

The seminar will be inaugurated by JSS Medical College Vice Principal Dr Ravi. He will deliver a key note address on ‘Development of the Auditory System’.

Lectures

The seminar also involves lectures from Dr T K Parthasarathy of Southern Illinois University, USA and video demonstrations on the procedures for assessment and management of hearing impairment in children.

Around 35 participants from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala have registered for the seminar.
