Poll code: JD(S) to file complaint against dist admn

Addressing a news conference here on Wednesday, he said that the DC bowing down to political pressure has ensured that no banner having pictures of C T Ravi are pulled down.

“Developmental works are being taken up even when the code of conduct is in force. This must be stopped immediately,” he said.

He said that there is a fierce competition among the aspirants to get party ticket for this election and dialogues have been held with aspirants from Lakhya, Jagara , Sakharayapatna, Devanoor and Kuruvangi constituencies. Their details will be sent to District Core Committee.

Lot of members from the Congress and the BJP are now joining the JD(S), he said and added that the number of Congress party workers joining JD(S) is more because of the poor way of functioning of the Congress party.

He added that the MLA from the region is playing hate politics and the JD(S) will reach to the voters by exposing the corrupt face of the local MLA.

JD(S) District President H H Devaraj said that the list of candidates will be released during the party leaders’ meet to be held on December 17.

Avathi Vyavasaya Seva Sahakara Sangha former president B M Pavithra among others joined JD(S).
