There was so much demand that the eatery had to extend its menu to include new items.

The eatery was started by Rajashekar in 1991 and since then it has been extremely successful. “Initially, we started only with juice and then due to the increasing demand we moved to chaats and soon extended our platter to many other snacks,” says Rajashekar, owner of the eatery.

There’s something for everyone at this place. From chaats, sandwich, pizza, desserts, juice, milkshakes to fruit salads, one can indulge in a variety of delicacies.

The rates are also reasonable and quantity served here is quite filling. Bhel puri, masala puri, samosa masala, cutlet masala, sev puri and dahi puri are some of the chaats you could try out.

The sandwich too has its variations. You could order anything from an assortment of paneer grill, cheese grill, baby corn grill, mushroom grill to aloo grill.

The pizzas have mushroom, onion, cocktail and vegetable toppings.

You could dig into desserts such as sundaes, the dry fruit delight is a favourite among students. Apart from that there is raco baraco, titanic boat, dancing doll, gadbad,
banana split, hot chocolate fudge, cake fudge, double and triple sundae, butter scotch fudge to mention a few.

After a short snack you can also help yourself to some fresh juice which is inexpensive.

This eatery also sells softee, a cone ice cream and steamed corn in different flavours which makes for complete snack.

People scramble for space and they make themselves comfortable wherever they find one. The steps, bikes and the passage way – all of them double up as a seat. Students from APS, BMS, and National College and some students from private tutorial classes around this area also flock to this place.

Anusha, a M Com a student who frequents the joint says, “I come here especially for sev puri and softee ice cream. It has a different taste and the ice cream is also very nice to savour.” Abhilasha, another student thinks, “The service is quick in spite of the place being crowded, we get our orders fast and the quantity is filling.”

Geetha, a homemaker and a regular says, “I have been coming here with my family for the last two years, it caters to varied tastes. There’s a unique taste which is not found in other joints. I usually have my snack in the evenings here. Cutlet and sev puri are my favourites.”
