Some people even preserve them for long periods of time.<br /><br />An exhibition of articles from newspaper columns gave rise to curiosity among the people.<br />‘Karnataka Darshana’, ‘Vijnana Vishesha’, ‘Purana Pada’, ‘Karunalu Baa Belake’, ‘Raman’, ‘Putti’ and ‘Uttaramukhi’ were some of the Prajavani columns from which articles were collected and compiled into a book by Devaraj.</p>.<p>Informative<br /><br />“We have developed the habit in our School of putting up interesting articles on the notice board and making the students read them out aloud.<br /><br />“ When new articles are published in the newspapers, the older ones are pasted in a book and preserved, instead of being discarded. We now have almost a library-full of such articles,” said Devaraj.<br /><br />“Articles on topics like tsunami, botany and science are informative not just for students but also for teachers,” he explained.<br /></p>
