Regular bus pass service from today

Just ` 60 for Mysore-Chamarajanagar, Gundlupet-Mysore per day

The passengers have to pay just  60 to buy this pass from Chamarajanagar- Mysore. This included to and fro journey including city and rural bus service free- of -cost in Mysore surroundings. The KSRTC has taken this decision to get more passengers to travel by its buses, and avoid taking private mode of transport.

Likewise, Gundlupet -Mysore bus passes, Kollegal-Mysore bus passes will also be priced at  60. A  bus pass for ` 32 is also available between Nanjangud and Mysore. The travellers can purchase these passes at special bus pass counters at KSRTC bus stand and from the conductors. These passes would be allowed in ordinary and express buses. These passes cannot be replaced in terms of issuing a duplicate if the original is lost, and are not transferable. The passengers must sign on the bus passes. They can travel till midnight of that day.

There is no provision for advance booking for this passes, according to a press release from KSRTC Divisional Controller of Chamarajanagar.
