Show-cause notice for delay

The firm has undertaken contracts for the construction of grade separators at Kadirenahalli, CNR Rao Circle, New BEL Road and 11 other places, said H Ravindra, Palike's standing committee chairman on major works.

Along with the firm, show-cause notices have also been served on BWSSB chief engineer for not shifting the storm water drain and other water utility services.

"We have asked the construction company as to why it should not be blacklisted for delaying work. We are also issuing a show-cause notice to the BWSSB officer for not shifting the utility pipelines which has delayed the project on New BEL Road," said Ravindra.

He said the BWSSB and BESCOM have now expedited work of shifting the utilities.
