Trade licenses

Palike had initially decided to run the drive of issuing trade licences till early December. However, it decided to extend the drive in a meeting on Tuesday.

Traders can pay the fees at the Glass House of Palike’s head office near Hudson Circle.
The drive was started to increase the revenue by bringing the shops running illegally within the Palike limits within the tax bracket.

The survey by Palike revealed that there are  about five lakh shops in the City running illegally.
