Tennis history's longest 77 game final between Federer and Roddick in Wimbledon was an epic sports event. Roddick played his most memorable match and deserves kudos for his dignified loss.
Federer, an icon as described by Sampras after the match is the most memorable young living champion who can be an inspiration to many who dream to achieve greatness in their life. His gentle behaviour, calmness, humility etc., are the striking qualities which endears him to every one apart from his high calibre tennis skill. Of course, Wimbledon again proved that it is the sacred land of tennis world.
