'Alzheimer's cases increasing in India'

He was speaking at the valedictory of ‘Vigyana Vikasotsava-2010’ programme organised by the Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering Technology here on Tuesday. He said that even though the disease doesn’t affect a person physically, it causes loss of memory.

During 1996, China had lagged in developing science and technology, but has now done a lot of progress. In India also, there are a lot of opportunities. Students should involve themselves in this field, he added.He said that the country can develop if prominence is given to research. He advised students to opt for science and work for the development of the country. More than 350 students participated in the science exhibition.

Vidya Vikas Education Trust (VVET) President Vasu, Secretary Kavish V Gowda and VVIET Principal Dr B S Chandrashekar were present on t he occasion.
