<p>Mohammed Wasim (12), son of Ashwaq of Shanthinagar who has been admitted to the K R Hospital with severe burn injuries and later shifted to a private hospital, has succumbed to his injuries, this morning.<br /><br />In all, ten persons were injured of which seven have already succumbed to injuries. Three others, Chand Pasha, Shoubuddin and Tanvir are undergoing treatment.<br /><br />It is said that the owner of the scrap yard too has ben injured in the mishap but his whereabouts are not known till date.<br /><br />Man attacked<br /><br />A person was attacked and robbed of gold jewellery and and cash by a group of youths near a bar on Bogadi Road on Sunday.<br /><br />The attack is due to alleged political rivalry.<br /><br />The victim, Sureshgowda of Hunsur taluk was walking near the bar at around 5 pm when a group of people comprising M A Mahadevaswamy, Pushparaj and Pratap assaulted him. <br /><br />They snatched two finger rings weighing 20 grams, ATM card and Rs 3,500 cash.<br />Saraswathipuram Police have registered a case and are investigating.<br /><br />Theft at mobile store<br /><br />Thieves entered a mobile phone shop and made away with 20 mobile phones worth Rs 25,000 at Yaraganahalli on the outskirts of the city. The theft came to the notice of the shop owner when he opened the shop, this morning.<br /><br />The thieves have gained entry into the shop through the roof.<br /><br />Nazarbad Police have registered a case.<br /></p>
