The KSRTC has tendered the parking space, but yet to handover the position to the contractor officially.<br /><br /> To avoid inconvenience to the daily commuters, the basement is open for parking vehicles free of charges. The basement is so much crowded with two wheelers recently that there is no space for the parking of four wheelers. It should be recalled that the KSRTC officials had declared that the parking space could accomodate about 500 four wheelers and more than 1500 two wheelers. <br /><br />However, if the number of two wheelers parked inside parking area is taken into account, there is hardly any space left for cars. In another set of woes for the two wheelers, the auto’s standing in queue at pre-paid auto stand block the pathway leading to the entry of basement of the KSRTC building. <br /><br />“The commuters are facing daily problem for entry and exit from the parking. Police remain a silent spectator,” an aggrieved person told Deccan Herald. <br /><br />With the delay in officially handing over the parking space to the contractor, several two wheeler owners have complained of theft of key automobile parts from the bike.
