Kulbhushan, the passerby, recorded the statement of property dealer Shahil Khatri on his mobile phone while waiting for police to arrive at the scene, at Rani Bagh in north-west Delhi, police said.

Khatri told Kulbhushan that he was shot at allegedly by his friend-turned-rival Manish Yadav (41) when he returning home on his motorcycle after closing his shop, a senior police official said.

Kulbhushan recorded the statement on his mobile phone."Yadav allegedly came on a bike with one of his associates and shot him," the official said.

"Khatri and Yadav were friends. Both of them are property dealers. They were having a dispute over a property for some time," the official said.

Khatri had reportedly prevented Yadav from selling any property and enraged over this, he allegedly opened fire at his friend. Police rushed to Khatri to Mahaveer hospital from where he was shifted to AIIMS Trauma Centre.

"He was in a critical condition and succumbed to his injuries this morning," the official said.
A case has been registered and a hunt is on to nab Yadav
