“I want to give a good news to the people of Bangalore. Metro rail will begin its operation in the phase I during this month end,” he stated while piloting a bill seeking sanction for additional expenditure of Rs 5,060 crore.
In order to expedite the Metro work, the government wants to release Rs 450 crore to the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation as loan requirement, he added.
