Last Updated 14 January 2011, 18:13 IST

The Opposition combine has decided to launch a series of protests against the State Government on Monday. Leaders of both the parties will stage dharna in front of Raj Bhavan demanding the governor to sack the corrupt government. JD(S) leader H D Revanna said party workers would continue the dharna everyday. The struggle would not end till Yeddyurappa resign.

Revanna said the appointment of the Appachu Ranjan committee was itself against the law. As per the tradition, the speaker should appoint the committee only when the House is in place. Members should be appointed to the committee only after consulting leaders of opposition in the House, he said.
