Alleging that the EC team which was headed by Bihar chief electoral officer Sudhir Kumar Rakesh listened to grievances of the Opposition parties alone, Bose wondered what had prevented the team from seriously considering the CPM’s complaints of a Trinamool-Maoist nexus.
What has perhaps irked Bose is the observers’ strict order to the state administration to issue proper guidelines to the district police officers for unearthing of arms and arms dumps in the troubled region irrespective of party affiliation, specially in those belts sanitised by the combined forces from the Maoist clutch.
