Addressing a press conference in Bangalore, Revanna said the BJP was making false allegations against him with malafide intentions and to deviate attention of the people from the corruption charges against chief minister B S Yeddyurappa.
Chief minister’s political secretary B J Puttaswamy on Saturday had alleged that irregularities to the tune of Rs 58 crore took place in the KMF when H D Revanna was its chairman.
Revanna said he was instrumental in reviving KMF from a loss making unit. Successive audit reports had given a clean chit to the functioning of KMF, he claimed and offered to retire from politics if Puttaswamy’s charges were found true.
