Inquiry into misconduct

The Government has constituted a committee headed by the Women and Child Development Department director to conduct an inquiry into the alleged misconduct of a joint commissioner of Labour with his lady subordinate. In his reply to a question raised by Vimala Gowda (BJP) in the Council on Monday, Labour Minister B N Bachegowda said the officer had been suspended.
