Railways to delink trains

Sri Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) (SCSMT (K) )-Tirupati and Tirupati- SCSMT (K) Express Daily (17416/17415) will be an independent train from Tirupati from February 15 and from Kolhapur end from February 17. Hyderabad-Tirupati-Hyderabad Rayalaseema Express Daily (17429/17430) will be independent train from Tirupati from February 15.

Bi-weekly train

A new bi-weekly train SCSMT (K)-Hyderabad Express (17003/17004) will commence on February 18 from Hyderabad and on February 20 from Kolhapur. The slip coach service from Hyderabad to SMSMT (K) Express train will be withdrawn from February 15 and from SCSMT (K) to Hyderabad from February 17.

New timings

Hyderabad-SCSMT (K) Bi-Weekly Express (17003) will depart Hyderabad at 11.30 pm on Mondays and Fridays and arrive at Kolhapur at 11.45 pm the next day. The service will commence from Hyderabad from February 18. 

Tirupati-CMTS (K) Daily Express (17415) will depart Tirupati at 8.30 pm from February 15 and arrive at Kolhapur at 4.35 pm the next day. In the return direction, CMTS (K)-Tirupati Daily Express (17416) will depart Kolhapur at 11.35 am from  February 17 and at Tirupati 8.00 am the next day.

PRS system at Badami

For the convenience of the travelling public, Hubli Division has opened a Computerised Passenger Reservation System (PRS) at Badami Railway Station. Rail tickets will be issued from PRS system from any where to any where in India at  Badami Railway Station.
